SEMA-goers get a sneak peek at the future of performance with the debut of the 2026 Ford Maverick 300T street truck.
What is the 300T?

Officially dubbed a “project kit” from Ford Performance, the 300T is positioned as an upgrade available on the XL, XLT, and Lariat all-wheel drive Maverick models equipped with the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine. The 300T borrows suspension components from the Lobo trim as well as a turbocharger from the Mustang’s 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine.
With that addition of a turbocharger from the Ford parts bin, the 300T gets an estimated boost of 50 horsepower over the base 2.0-liter Maverick. Ford is also aiming to add 40 lbs-ft. of torque with this turbo upgrade, meaning the 300T should boast 300 horsepower and 317 lbs-ft of torque.
This new-for-Maverick turbocharger has an 11% larger compressor wheel for better than 20% reduction in pressure loss. The turbo is paired with a 58% larger Mishimoto intercooler to help keep temperatures in check, achieving more than a 39% reduction to improve responsiveness.
Ford suggests pairing the 300T project kit with the 4K Tow Package already available for the Maverick, which improves transmission cooling.
In addition to the improved turbo and cooling, Ford has also added a Borla exhaust for a better exhaust note and freer breathing of the upgraded powerplant.
Total Performance Upgrade

The 300T is more than just enhancements to the engine; it is a complete performance upgrade that includes the suspension, stance, and overall appearance. Taking the teachings from the street truck persona of the Maverick Lobo, the 300T drops the truck by 10mm up front and 30mm in the rear. It is not quite the same as the Lobo’s 13mm front and 29mm rear squat, but it does use the Lobo’s stabilizer bar and suspension bushings.
Filling out the wheel wells are a couple of 20-inch Mustang GT wheel options in black or Sinister Bronze with performance tires to match. The SEMA concept vehicle is wearing Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, but Ford Performance is planning on shipping 245/45R20 Pirelli P Zero Elect Tires.
Nothing has been shared about drive modes and programming yet. We do know the Lobo got a special “Lobo mode” that is meant for improved cornering performance, grip, and stability.
Upgraded Attitude

In addition to the lower stance, Borla exhaust, and large performance wheels, Ford Performance has added several other visual cues to set the 300T apart.
Bronze and black 300T hood graphics, a Ford Performance-branded front fender vent, 300T graphics running along the bottom of both doors, Ford Performance badging, and tailgate lettering round out the exterior visual cues, setting this Maverick out from the rest.
Inside, Ford Performance floor mats are about the only unique cue letting passengers know this one is something special.
How Much

While this 300T Project Vehicle is still considered a concept at the 2025 SEMA show, Ford does plan to make it available to consumers as an add-on to XL, XLT, and Lariat models equipped with AWD and the 2.0-liter turbo. It is not required, but Ford suggests opting for the $745 4K Tow Package to add improved cooling for the transmission. No pricing has been announced as of this writing, but it would start above the $30,535 of a 2026 model year 2.0-liter AWD XL model.

Simplified Summary
Ford showed off the Maverick 300T concept at the 2025 SEMA show in Las Vegas. This truck should be available to consumers in the near future as an upgrade to non Lobo or Tremor models of the 2026 Ford Maverick powered by the 2.0-liter engine.
